C.O.P. Patrols

Smith Farm would like to initiate a recruitment program to obtain forty (40) or more volunteers for our Citizens Observer Patrol. We are determined to make this drive a success. This is our community: let’s all do our part to keep our families safe. The program will work in conjunction with our Roving Patrol to STOP the vandalism in Smith Farm. It is ONLY three hours a week of your time to keep our community a safe haven for our children. This will only work if we all do our part. Most of the vandalism and crime is done by young adults living in Smith Farms.

Crime ALERT - Crime Statistics

While the C.O.P. program has improved security in gated communities; crime in West Palm Beach has increased during November and December. The Sheriff’s Deputy assigned to the C.O.P. program advised that many people are still leaving their cars unlocked in their driveways. Cars and sliding glass doors are vulnerable points inviting a break-in.
