MASTER BOARD SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING

A
quorum was established and the meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m.
OPENING / CLOSING POOL AND FITNESS CENTER
Management
submitted to the Board Mike Lerner’s and Deb Ross’s job descriptions as well as
two proposals for roving patrol from Eagle Security. The Board members discussed several possible options available to
them regarding staffing of the Management office and the opening and closing of
the two pools and Fitness Center. The
Board decided to place on the February 26, 2004 Agenda installing a card reader
on the Fitness Center door and re-keying the pool gates to the satellite pool
key.
Management
submitted to the Board two (2) proposals from Eagle Security for a 16 or
24-hour roving patrol. A discussion
between the Board members began regarding the necessity of a roving patrol as
well as the Sheriffs Department random site patrol. Pam and Allan discussed the cost value of using Security Officers
for an eight-hour roving patrol and the Sheriff’s Department randomly.
The
Board decided to place on the Agenda for February 26, 2004 the following
schedule. Eagle Security roving patrol
will be employed to work Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The Sheriff’s Department random patrol will
be employed Friday and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The roving patrol will be responsible for
locking gates and bathrooms between 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM and unlocking all the
bathrooms and gates prior to 6:00 AM at the end of the shift. Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM
guards will be responsible for opening all bathrooms and gates and at the end
of the shift between 11:00 PM – 11:30 PM locking all bathrooms and gates.
